1. General Manager
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, implementing and controlling the business and report to the Chairman
- Ensure profitability of the business
- Oversee the operation of each department; service & repairs, sales, parts, marketing & communication, accounting & banking and administration & HR
Key skills
- Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Technical engineering with Management training.
- At least two years of car dealership sales experience and five years in a supervisory position.
- Experience in other car dealership departments is a plus.
- Experience working with Bosch or Volvo would be an advantage.
- Must have strong leadership and organizational skills, and the ability to understand profit and loss statements and manage a diverse staff.
- Must have strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors.
- Must be fluent in English and understanding of Portuguese would be an advantage.
2. Parts manager
Key responsibilities
- Procurement of multi-brand car parts
- Stock management
- Supplier file organization
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of company cars
Key skills
- Excellent knowledge of multi-brand car parts
- Knowledge in automotive/mechanical engineering
- At least 5 years of knowledge in similar role
- Drivers license
- Fluent in Portuguese and good knowledge in English
- Good organizational skills
- Good computer skills
3. Foreman
Key responsibilities
- Plan and supervise the workload of the mechanics
- Control the work in progress
- Provide technical assistance for repairs and maintenance
Key skills
- Formal training with cars
- Knowledge of multi-brand cars
- Drivers license
- Fluent in Portuguese and good knowledge in English
- Coordination and organization skills
4. Head of Workshop
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and manage workshop operations
- Confirm quality of repairs and maintenance
- Ensure excellent customer service and high standards of technical competence
- Assist with the process of ordering parts
Key skills
- Formal training with cars
- Knowledge of multi-brand cars
- Drivers license
- Fluent in Portuguese and good knowledge in English
- Good customer service skills
